Well, this post is a lot more timely than the last one!!
I finally made it to the #PurpleTrain – also know as TfL Rail or Crossrail Elizabeth Line. There were two stations on the Liverpool Street – Shenfield line.
Forest Gate
Brentwood
I had hoped that I would be riding this line under the Crossrail/Elizabeth Line/Purple Train banner, but it has been delayed until at Autumn 2019, but the silent rumour is that is will be even later. I also hoped that I might be here when it opens, but that is looking more unlikely!
Anyway, the Liverpool Street to Shenfield branch is looking very nice, all the stations are looking clean and fresh and, hopefully, ready to go. If you didn’t know, all the Purple Train stations have all been renovated to be step free.
